Built around Comet’s rugged RS-840 mounting platform, the HD-5 combines a sturdy multi-angle bracket with a deluxe 16'6" low-loss coax assembly, making it a strong choice for hood, trunk, hatch, SUV, and tailgate installations.
Unlike lighter-duty lip mounts, the HD-5 is designed to better support taller antennas while still allowing a clean, no-drill installation on most vehicles. The mount adjusts in three different planes for easier antenna positioning, while rubber protection pads and large set screws help secure the bracket without damaging paint.
