Built as a standard cable for lip mounts, it also works perfectly as a standalone solution for permanent hole mounts. Whether you're upgrading an existing setup or starting fresh, this assembly gives you a straightforward way to connect your antenna with confidence.
With 16 feet 4 inches of low loss coax and a compact outside diameter of about a quarter inch, it’s easy to route through tight spaces in a vehicle without fighting stiff or bulky cable. Once the cable is installed simply screw the gold plated PL-259 onto the smaller end. The included O-ring helps prevent moisture from working its way under the mounting nut, adding an extra layer of protection where it matters most.
Mounting Instructions:
This cable assembly can be either mounted through a 5/8-inch roof/trunk hole, or installed in any Comet brand trunk/hatch-back/lip mounts.
For permanent hole mounting, a reinforcement washer is included. Remove it if not needed.
Place the hex nut and reinforcement washer on back surface of the roof/trunk.
Screw the washer with the O-ring down over the connector while holding the connector in place
