Uniden PRO510XL Reviews
Very small, about the size of a small paperback book.This is a bare-bones CB with almost no features. If you want simple and effective, this is a good choice.The most durable compact CB that I've ever used. We see a lot of these radios used by quarries and similar environments due to its easy operation and ruggedness.
The best inexpensive CB out there. Don't let the small size fool you. Better then the Cobra 19+ due to the fact that the 510xl has a strong noise blank which is good for removing interference from engine noise. This radio works great with a good antenna, K40 / Wilson.
I was given this radio by my uncle and it has served me fine. Great for beginners.
Pros: solid construction, good performance and inexpensive. very reliable.
Cons: its an inexpensive CB so your getting no bells and whistles.
Overall: If your looking for an inexpensive CB here it is! Its much better than some radios that were far more expensive. Also, if your in a "high crime" area. This radio might be well worth thinking about.
