The Quarryman package was built to give customers a compact, and reliable CB radio system without breaking the bank. The small footprint of the Ted makes it a great choice when you don't have a lot of space to sacrifice. The case size is comparable to the Uniden Pro510, but the Ted isn't as deep.
On top of FM mode, President has also added their ASC automatic squelch control that automatically adjusts the squelch setting to filter out unwanted noise. If you want to do it yourself you still get manual control as well. Pressing the channel up/down buttons simultaneously activates the scan feature to search out active channels.
The three foot antenna is pre-tuned, just screw it in and go! The coax cable is high quality, hand-soldered in the US, and will hold up for many years.
