The PNI MVX6500 microphone is the perfect upgrade to the stock mic that's included with the PNI HP 6500 and 7120 radios. This updated version comes with active noise reduction, VOX voice activation for hands free use, and a status LED on the front of the mic.No one wants background noise when you're trying to broadcast. Active noise reduction helps suppress any unwanted background noises so your transmission sounds strong and clear.
These mics also add the VOX function to your radio, which allows you to transmit without having to key the PTT, push to talk button helping you stay safe and in control. There are two adjustments that can be made to suite your needs. The sensitivity control lets you select between 4 different settings to adjust the volume level that triggers the VOX. There's also a function to adjust between 4 delay settings that change the amount of time between when the VOX activates and broadcasts. Having it set to 1 gives you the shortest delay.
