The MFV-5MH gives you a complete VHF marine antenna setup in one package. The 5-foot white fiberglass antenna provides 3 dB gain and covers 156-162 MHz for marine VHF communications and NOAA weather reception.
Installation is straightforward thanks to the included adjustable nylon ratchet mount. Its standard 1"-14 thread and adjustable design let you position the antenna vertically on a variety of mounting surfaces.
The MFV-5MH also comes with 15 feet of white RG-58/U coax with a PL-259 connector already installed. No elaborate ground system is required, making it a great choice for fiberglass and wood boats where establishing a traditional antenna ground can be difficult.
