Chevy Suburban 2002-2006
The mount is designed to fit onto the inside of the drivers side fender, typically behind the hood hinge. Stainless Steel mount with Terminator stud and 12 feet of coax cable with removable PL259 connector included.
2007 Chevy Silverado Owners
Check your hood/fender to make sure you're getting the correct mount. Early 2007 Silverado's will likely require the GM2L mount, late 2007 Silverado's will likely use this mount, the GM3L. Compare your hood/fender to the images at the top of the page to ensure you're getting the right mount.
1999 Chevy Silverado Owners
Check your hood/fender, if you find a triangular shaped plastic insert next to your windshield, this mount may work. Check the pictures for installs we've done, and if you see a similar setup on your Silverado then this mount should fit. Reports indicate that the "classic" body Silverado may not be compatible.
If you're not sure which mount to use, send us a picture of your fender, with the hood open, so we may assist with getting the correct mount to you. Contact us here Email Walcott Radio

Walcott Radio GM2L Reviews
Well Engineered
This is a snug fit, but I like this sleek and sturdy mount. I may or may not bother to shim it a degree or 2.
A fire ring or K4 is mandatory. There simply is not enough room for an SO239.
I had intended to run a 4' stainless whip, but had high SWR. I had a 4' Firestik laying around, and got reasonable SWR, but I was concerned about the bulky look and wind load. I tried a slimmer 4' Firefly but more high SWR!
I resigned myself to the magnet mount antenna, forever, but picked up a Sirio Flex Log, at a low price.
The Flex Log(logarithmic windings) seems to be an Italian copy of the Firefly, but I got very low SWR!
I am delighted to finally have a permanent antenna mount(long after the magnet mount wrecked my paint). I wish Walcott would carry the Sirio Flex Log for ground plane problem locations. I have a Sirio Boomerang mounted on my balcony, for base station use, and it is the best antenna I ever owned.
Thank you, Walcott Radio, for this ingenious and well-crafted mount.
Fits perfectly! Very thick metal, Not sheet metal. Look like a factory installed item. Ideal for Ham radio use. Can easily be enlarge using a 5/8 drill bit to fit SO239 connector. If a black antenna is used it will gives a very stealth appearance.Hardware. To install this mount it would be wise to purchase a 3/8 longer bolt, a couple extra washers and nuts, all in stainless steel, because of the very tight fixing area that this mount fits into it may best to have a friend very long fingers or very small hands to start the hardware for you! AA6TTGM2L Fender Mount for Chevy Silverado, Avalanche and Suburban
This mount works great with K48R18 Fire-Ring coax cable, will designed. Thanks
Thanks for a GREAT product! Fits well and looks really great on my 04 Silverado. I've had many compliments since I bought it!
Fits like a glove. Looks almost like the stock fm antenna.
