GENERAL HP40W - Simple, Tough, Hard Working Radio That Packs A Punch with well over 100 watts modulation, you will be heard with this radio.

The new General HP40W 100-watt 10-meter radio with blue lights is essentially a high output version of the General Lee. The HP40 boasts approx. 110 watts modulation and 40 watts dead key, more than double that of the General Lee CB radio. It also comes equipped with blue LED display lights, a switchable Talkback circuit, and variable echo control.

This radio is simple but very powerful.
It has everything you really need, without all of the confusing features that some other models have.
On high with swr meter showing about 1.25 in an open area, dead key was about 80 watts, about 180 watts modulation.
I am using a Wilson lil wil 300 watt mag mount also. I have talked to several folks over 50 miles away.
Nothing other than the peak and tune was done to it from Walcott Radio.
I have had this radio almost a year now. Still working perfectly.
If you are looking for the most power for the money, this is it.

Good Radio have had all good reports on how it sounds and good receive sound came to me with no scratches was packed back up like the factory did it wouldn't hesitate to buy another radio from this shop
