Great radio, excellent price
I was already running an Aries II with a RM Italy 503. I wanted something that took up less space and less wires so I had been debating for over a year and finally pulled the trigger. I am glad I did. The radio gives me everything I wanted and in a clean simple package. I get nothing but flowers from people who hear me talking praising the sound quality. If you are on the fence I can tell you, just buy it already you won't be disappointed.

An AM audio monster, stable cruiser on sideband
So far so good. This radio is great on the air, and an excellent choice for those who want a higher horsepower rig on a budget. No complaints, it’s a great looking and performing unit. Only one negative is that I wish the meter was a little bigger to make it easier to see, however I don’t look at the meter that much for it to bother me. The auxiliary rear cooling fan is nice, and everything stays nice and cool to the touch, even during longer QSO’s.
