Introducing the magnetic version of the very popular Stryker SR-A10 Warthog CB antenna. Included with the antenna is a magnetic base with a 5" diameter magnet, meaning this antenna will NOT come off no matter how fast you're driving.

Rated at 10,000 watts, the SR-A10MM CB radio magnetic mount antenna will handle whatever you want to throw at it. However, from our experience, you may want to keep the power output on your 10 meter radios below 150 watts with any magnetic antenna. High powered radios magnetic antennas mean likely damage to the paint job on the body. If you've got a radio that has around 150 watts or less, you should be fine.

The load coil is removable from the magnetic base, so you can keep the magnet in place and just remove the long load coil whip when not in use.

Great for 10m Ham

Wanted something resonant and better than a Hamstick for the 10m band while we are in a good sunspot cycle. I installed the antenna and the SWR was pretty high in the 28 mhz range as I would expect for a CB antenna. I thought maybe instead of cutting the original Stryker factory stinger down I would try a spare stinger off of a hamstick antenna. That was way too short and the resonant point became way too high. Once I realized that you can buy replacement Stryker stingers I had to cut roughly 6" off of the factor stinger to get it good across the most common portion of the 10m band. Using my RigExpert analyzer it's well nearly 1:1 at the start of the 10m band and good to nearly 29 mhz. Anything above that I can use the tuner in the radio to touch it up. With 100w from my driveway I worked two different stations in Idaho, one in Argentina, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador along with a station in Iowa not to far from Walcott Radio. Unprompted a couple of the stations said that I was the loudest signal on the band. They guy in Argentina couldn't believe that I was mobile. Not a fan of the LED module so I will be removing that.

I purchased this antenna for the first time and am very pleased with the quality of the product. I went from a lil wil magnetic antenna, which is a good antenna,had 1.7swr with lil wil but after switching to Stryker sr-a10mm magnetic antenna had 1.2swr and 1.3swr. I'm very pleased with this product.

so far, so good

I bought this antenna to listen to the log truck drivers, Bear and Cat hunters here in Idaho.

On the install I thought something was wrong with the antenna because the SWR was so low across a wide band spread.

Nope, it was just fine. My 1st contact was on channel 38, LSB was to a guy in upper Michigan, so it does work.
2nd contact was a guy in Dublin, Ireland, that was unexpected.

So far, so good as I said in the header.

Was it expensive, “yes”, but performance wise, it does the job.
