I used this product on my midland 1001z and I crimp it to the power contacts so I have a portable radio that I use with a wilson Lil'wil mag mount andtenna and it works great. Note: One thing thought you have to twist the plug in the socket to make shure that it makes a good contact other than that great product for and C.b. radion that uses the permanintly installed two wire setup.
