There aren't as many base stations on the market as there used to be, but a DC power supply connected to a mobile radio is a great way to get broadcasting from your home. Astron's RS-12A plugs into your wall socket and outputs a reliable 13.8VDC and can handle 9 amps continuous and 12 amps surge. We've been using Astron power supplies in our store for decades and they've not let us down.
