The newest addition to the Ranger line is the RCI 99N1. This new design eliminates the bottom heatsink which slims it down to the size of most other 10 meter radios, but you still get the switchable RF Power Amplifier and all of the features of it's predecessors, with ~~100~~ 100 watts of output power.

They have the same sleek look and feel too. The black chrome bezel and white LED Channel and frequency lights compliment each other nicely, and you can switch between several different colors for the backlit display and dim them down if you don't want them so bright.

Some other nice features of this radio are the built-in SWR meter with a high SWR Alert LED that warns you of problems in your antenna system. The 99N1 comes with AM, USB, and LSB operating modes and a 5 digit frequency counter.

Happy customer

They say ship fast! I ordered this radio, RCI 99N1 on mid-day Monday, with only a tune and alignment. I had the radio in hand Thursday evening when I got home from work. I pulled the company provided radio out. I installed this radio, so basically a plug and play as I had to work the next morning. I turned the radio on to make sure it worked. I could hear people talking. I tried a radio check, with nobody in range to verify. It waited until the next morning to check again. I was able to talk with one of my colleagues in the hills of WV at 5 miles. Thank you Walcott Radio. You did a fantastic job. Now in the coming days, as I get time. I will fine tune the system for peak performance.

I like that it’s compact fits in the CB cubby in my Volvo great very nice setup ran my own antenna off of bird perch on the driver side swr’s are 1.1-1.2 getting out 20+ miles guys are saying I’m comin in loud and clear very Pleased with my purchase from Walcott radio
