Update - 2/25 - Newest versions of this radio are coming with flat front feet and not the plastic feet that flip up.
The new RCI 29 Base is one of the few 10 meter radios on the market that's designed to be used as a base station. Comes with 80 watts modulation, and includes two rear mounted fans to keep everything cool. Plug it in to your AC wall outlet, or flip the switch and use it with DC. No need for an external power supply, it's all in the box.

How does the clarifier work?

There is a clarifier button, and a clarifier knob. With the clarifier button OUT (and the clarifier light is OFF), the clarifier knob will function as a "tied" clarifier, meaning it will adjust both your transmit AND receive frequency at the same time. With the clarifier button pushed IN (clarifier light ON), the clarifier knob will now only adjust the receive frequency only.

I did not purchase this radio but my elderly neighbor did...
Thank Ya'll formaking it right, my neighbor just got his 29 back today IDK if it's the same or a new one but it sounds top shelf I appreciate it I think a lot of my neighbors him and his wife! Seems to work great on AM and Sideband... FM is usable... Ya'lls service and shipping is the best!
