With the Jerry FCC President allows you to use one radio, where you need it, when you need it. It's dual function design allows you to use the Jerry as a walkie talkie, or attach the 12V power adapter that also allows you to connect an external antenna mounted to the vehicle.

The Jerry comes equipped with AM / FM modes as well receiving NOAA weather channels and alerts. Features like the Noise Blanker / Automatic Noise Limiter, and hi-cut filter help give you the clearest reception and transmission possible. You can also utilize the VOX function for hands free transmissions.

Not impressed!
First, I'll start with the things I liked - How it feels in your hand and the weight is very good, the sound quality is amazing on FM and not bad on AM, the rechargeable battery holds a charge well, the menu is easy to figure out which is good because the manual doesn't go into much detail. I ordered 2 of them and I also have a cobra mobile AM/FM CB. I did not test them at long range, so I don't have any info on distance. Now, the things I don't like - they did not come with a desk charger so the only way to charge them is with a cigarette lighter plug. I was going to order a desk charger around 20 dollars and come to find out that was only the base and the wire and plug was an extra 20 dollars so I didn't order it and felt like that was a rip-off. Moving on, when I first powered them up, I put them on the weather channels, and I hear nothing on all the channels. I thought there must be some adjustment needed well, not so. I live close to a city and I get weather channels on my Baofeng UV5G radios and my Motorola talk-a-bout radios with no problems. Those radios are half the price of the President Jerry and work better. I just believe when you pay that much for a product that it should work without having to upgrade antennas or anything else. My overall opinion is I like them and will try getting a different antenna.
