Compact
Owned for 2.5 years, used almost daily. Used in my 2012 Honda Accord, 2023 Ford Bronco Sport, and 1987 Porsche 944. It's small enough that it always fits somewhere on the center console. The features all work as they should. I have always gotten back good signal and sound reports from other drivers, even when using a relatively short antenna. My biggest gripe is that I always forget which button turns on scan skip for the current channel while scanning, I wish it were labelled. I have accidentally attempted to transmit while SWR was high (break in connection to antenna) and it was not damaged. It gets pretty warm after a few hours of use, but not too hot to touch. The volume suddenly jumps to a higher level when the volume knob is turned up past about 3/4 of its range, but if you are careful you can adjust it where you want it. I definitely recommend this for limited space installs, like the center console pockets of most cars.

Great little radio
If you want a power house this is not it. But if you want a clean clear small radio that will fit anywhere this is your ticket. Stock for stock it preforms better than a cobra 29 in my experience, FM is great on it as well.

Waste of money
For me this radio was a complete waste of money. I had it installed for 4 months directly to my battery, grounded well, SWRs between 1.0 and 1.5 ( closer to 1.3 or4) still couldn’t get anyone. Volume was either whisper or blast mode, no I’m between. I was 100% disappointed in this radio.

Great little radio, mounts nicely in the dash/console of my Chevy Colorado. Menu is easy enough to use, controls are simple. Automatic squelch control works great. Weather alert has notified me of more than a few thunderstorms (and one tornado) I wasn't expecting in the back country. Display screen doubles as up/down control, which saves space and is a neat feature, but also the source of my only real complaint - but it's the reason I won't buy another one of these. Pressing the bottom of the display/channel down button several times activates the Wx radio, so when I try to toggle down to channel 14 from channel 19, I end up in Wx mode - usually toggling between Wx channels instead of CB. I then have to try and remember which tiny button puts me back on the CB band, and repeat the process. At this point I'm on a random channel between 14 and 19, distracted, 3 miles further down the road, and I've missed the radio traffic I was changing channels for in the first place.
As a radio that doesn't take up much space, doesn't cost much, and still works well, it's a good buy. If you use the features on your radio often, or need to change channels frequently, the firmware/board glitch in the channel selector is pretty annoying.
