This custom GMRS base station package combines everything you need into one powerful, plug-and-play system. At the heart is the MXT500, Midlandβs top tier 50 watt GMRS radio that's capable of serious range, with full repeater support, and precision clarity.
We housed it in our custom designed radio stand, built from scratch with function and durability in mind. Inside, youβll find a built-in regulated DC power supply, a cooling fan kit, and a high quality speaker. Just set it up, plug it in, and transmit.
To complete the package, weβve bundled in a 5-foot high-gain GMRS antenna along with 50 feet of low-loss coaxial cable, so you can mount the antenna where it counts; up high, away from obstructions. We've pre-tuned the antenna for GMRS frequencies so there's no special trimming or tuning required.
The antenna comes with 2 U-bolts and clamps for mounting, but take a look at some of our other mounting options that might better fit your home or building's needs.
This is more than just a radio kit. Itβs a complete base station system designed for preppers, off-roaders, rural property owners, and anyone who demands clear, reliable communication without compromise.
