Enable the VOX voice activation and now you're talking hands free.Its compact design and wireless connectivity enable you to install the transceiver box out of the way. The transceiver just needs to be able to connect to a power source (the included power cord is 6.5') and the coax from your antenna system (not included), You can connect the handset into an existing USB port, or use the attached cigarette plug adapter to power it that way. The handset will make a digital connection to the transceiver box so you can don't have to have a mic cord strung across your interior. This makes it great for using in an RV, Jeep, or other off-road vehicle.
