Uniden BCD325P2 - Here's A Handheld Scanner That Receives Standard Analog Signals and APCO Digital & Trunked Systems.

Finally an inexpensive digital police scanner! This powerful little scanner is quite small in size, but packs a punch of abilities - including picking up APCO Phase II digital signals, Police, Fire, EMS all analog or digital modes. Combine this with Uniden's Close Call RF capture, which lets this scanner pickup any nearby strong signals automatically, and you've got a scanner for almost any situation. The price savings does come at a slight cost, while being the least expensive way to listen to all the above, this scanner does not easily program like the Uniden Homepatrol series, so you will need to spend some time getting to know the frequencies you want to make this scanner achieve it's full potential. If that sounds overwhelming, jump over to the Uniden Homepatrol-2 for a pre-programmed scanner with very similar features, but a much easier user experience. If you know what you want, and are comfortable with using / programming scanners, this handheld will still do the trick and save you some money in the process.
