Best handheld on the market. President's Automatic Squelch Control is a game-changer, opens up even on faint carriers that a normal squelch would probably miss, and almost never opens to noise. Just drove from Cleveland to Little Rock with this radio and a magnetic antenna on CH 19 the whole time and didn't need to adjust the squelch once. Its also great to finally have a handheld that doesn't take 9 AA batteries.

This is the best handheld CB I've ever owned. It has functions most mobiles and bases don't have. (a handheld with a roger beep!) Weather alert works fine with no false alarms. Battery life: It can operate in *excess* of 8 hours on a charge. The radio is smaller than any other handheld CB and fits comfortably in the hand. Scan function is nice. All the filters help with noise. Automatic Squelch control works well. I can't really give much in the line of range tests, because there isn't much traffic in my area and i don't have someone else to test with. This radio can connect to car power and antennas with the included adapters, so it can be run as a base or mobile. All in all, a good radio. Worth the money.

This is by far the best quality handheld (HT) CB Radio of recent. It's robust and durable. The included accessories are a nice bonus. Hopefully they will offer a case that will fit this radio for even more protection. As of March 2021 would recommend this over a Cobra, Uniden or Midland handheld.
