The Midland MXT500 boasts 50 watts output power, which makes it the most powerful radio allowed on GMRS frequencies by the FCC. For this package we picked out an antenna to match. The 32" whip antenna quadruples your signal output with 6 dB gain. It's spring loaded at the base to protect it against light or incidental contact. The mirror mount and NMO coax cable give you a variety of mounting options from truck mirrors, roll cages, luggage racks or just use the angled section and mount it flush to a cab.
