A half wave antenna, the BA1 uses the same tried and true Maco gamma system that comes standard on our beams.
The BA1 is ideal for the operator who has limited space or cannot have a permanent installation.

Best 1/2 wave made!
Excellent half wave antenna bought mine a few months back, I set it up vertical I don't have it up very high yet but still works great... I've made several long ground wave contacts in the 100 mile range on AM, as the crow flies... Talked to many skip contacts all over the US... I've owned several Amtrons 99s in the past & still own one I loaned to a family member and in my opinion this antenna is far superior!

Great half wave!
Easy to assemble, preforms fine. Worked Ireland and Alaska from nw Illinois on 40w sideband in decent conditions. Mine is 20ft up and 5 feet out from the house so less than optimal setup. It recently survived. 35" of ice in 40MPH winds and still made Yellowknife.
