The new and improved Galaxy DX66V3. The second model of the all new "Mini-Gal" radio series. Similar to the older Galaxy DX66V, but now with dual MOSFET transistors and in a smaller chassis. This CB radio with echo will fit inside the cubby of your truck, where the older generation may not. Keep reading to see what makes this radio a must-have.
The Galaxy DX66V3 offers the same features as the Galaxy DX55F 10-meter radio, but this model adds a built-in Echo board. Compared to the older 66, you now have a built-in automatic SWR meter, a feature the older model lacked. And most importantly, it's still powered by dual MOSFET transistors for at least 40 watts PeP power output or more.
You've asked for it, and Galaxy Radios has listened.
What we're seeing with the new lineup is a reduction in features people don't look for, and attention is being paid to chassis size. So, what you end up with is a CB radio with echo that is built specifically for the things people want, without the clutter of stuff you don't, all in a small radio housing that will fit any installation.

Outstanding dimmer, along with big meter and powerful Galaxy sound makes this a Trucker Special
Outstanding big meter and superior dimmer makes this a natural for night/dawn/dusk driving. I mounted it at about 1:30 o'clock on the dash! Few radios can manage this because of harsh lights. It appears gaudy in the picture, but can be dimmed down to a low key trucker special. The Starlite face does not dim, but is so well engineered to be perfect, day or night. The lights do not dim quite evenly, but are fun to experiment with. The blue and orange are incredibly attractive together, and contrary to the picture, can be made the softest lighting radio available. I like the simplified design, and would suggest removing the echo noise toy, moving the dimmer/power pair there, so as to generously space the remaining 2 pairs. Such a move would make it even more trucker friendy, and possibly get it down to a very affordable price point. At the moment, I have a Uniden channel knob and microphone installed, but this is a highly desirable radio as factory equipped. I have it mounted in a big rig, and am incredibly pleased with the radio and Walcott.

This is a (nearly) all business trucker tool that looks good doing it. Should be considered by night drivers and those sensitive to extraneous lights.
