If anyone is interested, I ordered one of these in place of the 3 inch heavy duty spring so that I could get extra length for lower SWR reading. I have to tilt my antenna because of the mirror mount located on my cascadia and the spring was allowing the antenna to stand up vertically next to the cab which was throwing everything off. Along with this I am Using a 5ft firestick and my SWR on 40 is 1:1 (needle doesn't move) 1:2 on 20 and 1:4 on channel 1. It is possible to get the 3 closer together but I would have to tilt the antenna a little too much for my comfort.
