It's about time that a Connex radio comes close to the now discontinued 4600 in terms of features. The 36HPF has many similarities and places it amongst the most popular 10 meter radios to choose. This is currently the only Connex radio witih an SWR meter and Frequency counter. If you wanted a Connex in the past, but were upset with the lack of these features, fear not, the CX36HPF has you covered.This is a full-sized 10 meter radio at 7 7/8" wide and 9 1/2" long, so if you've got a cubby situation, this radio may not be for you. If you can handle the Connex 3300, or General Lee radios, then this radio will fit. Plus unlike the previous two radios you get much better features with the same power. At this point, there is no reason to choose either the 3300, General Lee, or Galaxy 33 when this radio will do everything they can PLUS have better features. This radio is a no-brainer in the 45 watt category.
